An Atlanta native, Ivy Jacques founded her New York City based Interior Design firm in 2017, specializing in residential and retail projects. Known for creating elegant yet effortlessly livable spaces, she thoughtfully layers classic and modern pieces simultaneously, with antiques, beautiful textiles, and unique artwork, drawing inspiration from travel and culture in New York. Always focusing foremost on the importance of proportion, scale, and light, she works to create bespoke interiors that reflect the distinct lifestyle of each client.
Prior to opening her own firm, Ivy trained as a Designer & Project Manager at JD Bell Inc and at MR Architecture + Decor under Architect David Mann & Interior Stylist Fritz Karch, of which honed her eclectic eye and sharp attention to detail. Ivy grew up immersed in the world of design, developing her passion at a young age alongside her mother of Kimberley Davis Interiors. This diverse exposure to the industry coupled with careful organization and strong client relations help to make every project creative, fun, and successful.
To date, Ivy has designed projects in New York City, Brooklyn, Long Island, Manchester, Greenwich, Atlanta, Nashville, and Palm Beach.
Ivy received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design from the University of Georgia's Lamar Dodd School of Art. Additionally she studied abroad at Florence Italy University of the Arts with a concentration in Art History, Oil Painting, and Photography.
